Yelo Autosports is an automotive detailing company that was started in 2015 out of a two car garage. Our vision from the beginning has always been to bring the highest quality of work while educating the client about our processes. This means that we continually study our craft in order to deliver the best results for you. It also means that we believe in full transparency with you about our processes. Our aim is to deliver the highest level of work every single time, while making sure you leave more educated about the services we have done to your car. At Yelo Autosports, we are not just a car wash. We are your local friends and local guides when it comes to everything detailing, window tint and paint protection film.

After being shown how to detail and restore the dull and hazed paint on my then Mazda Miata, I became immediately hooked. The feeling of seeing my car shine brighter than a new car brought out a feeling in me that is hard to explain but that all car enthusiasts can understand. I instantly knew I wanted to share the feeling with others. Auto Detailing to me is an art. It is the process of restoring and protecting a car to the highest level so that the person behind the wheel can deepen their bond with machine.
So in 2015, I began Yelo Autosports as a side gig to my full time job as a Saint Paul Firefighter. After doing both jobs full time for 6 years, in May of 2022 I decided to leave my passion as a Fireman to pursue my other passion in car detailing.
I bring to Yelo Autosports all my experiences. From living abroad in France for a decade, from my time serving in the Marine Corps and my time as a Firefighter. Our work at Yelo Autosports is a direct reflection of years of discipline, enthusiastic work ethic, and utmost attention to detail in all that I do.

We collaborated with Bart from Bavaria Motors in Harelbeke, Belgium. We took a day of training with Bart, and exchanged knowledge of our craft.
PPF Training

We collaborated with this PPF/ Vinyl wrap shop in Germany in order to gain further insights and knowledge of our field.
Detailing training w/ SE77 IN paris, france
we teamed up with Sud Esthetique 77 in Paris, France to shadow and learn additional skills in Auto detailing.

We were invited by David P. of Oberk car care, to instruct alongside Eron Knox, Jason Killmer, and Matt Arendt. This training was held at the Ringbrothers facility in Spring green, WI.

We teamed up with Mikael of Perfect Detailing to learn and shadow from one another the art of Auto Detailing.

Renny Doyle is a Master Detailer and detailer of Air Force One. His 5 day course covers extensive knowledge in the world of Auto Detailing. Everything from Exterior, Interior, Wet sanding, Paint touch ups and much more is covered in this extensive certification course.
Mugen civic type R project in Milwaukee, Wi.
I was invited by Eric at Gtechniq to assist in the detailing of a special project. This event was in collaboration with BHF Detailing, Jason from Chicago Auto Pros and Dave from Oberk Car care.
Detailing at sema 2019 for GTECHNIQ in Las vegas, nv.
I was invited by G-Techniq to help their booth at SEMA. In this project we detailed AZN’s vehicle from the TV show Street Outlaws. The car was completely prepped and corrected live for the audience . SEMA is one of the Largest Auto trade show in the world.

I traveled to go train with Yvan Lacroix, an industry leader 35 years in the Detailing industry. Yvan is currently Brand Ambassador for Lake Manufacturing, Former VP of Opti-coat & Director of training at Polymer Technologies.
Gloss university course in spring green, WI.
I traveled to Spring green to the Ring brothers shop to train under some of the leading detailers today. The class was put on by Gloss University and included instructors like Jason Killmer “ Wet sanding Guru”, Eron Knox from KXK Dynamics, David Patterson and Jason Otterness from Chicago Auto Pros.

I traveled down to Gtechniq headquarters in order to master the techniques behind applying Crystal Serum Ultra Ceramic coating.
